Content information

Do videos come with resources?
Videos that contain resources and worksheets are indicated in the video metadata. These will be supplied with the video when purchased.

Will there be new titles added to the ClickView Media Store?
Yes.

How often will new content be made available?
New video content will be regularly added as new titles become available from our content partners.

How do I watch purchased content?
Purchased content downloads directly into your school's ClickView Library Server and is available for viewing through ClickView Player as soon as the download is complete.

Can purchased content be extracted and burnt onto DVD?
No. All content available from the ClickView Media Store is protected for the copyright owner and can not be wholly extracted out of ClickView or converted into other formats. You can, however, extract excerpts (clips) via the 'export to PowerPoint feature as usual.

How do I know if a video has closed captions available?
The standard closed caption symbol will be displayed in the metadata.

Accessing the Media Store

How can I start using the Media Store?
Simply download the latest ClickView Library Manager from our downloads page. Once you've installed the upgrade, open the ClickView Library Manager and select the 'Tools' menu, then select 'ClickView Media Store'.

Visit mediastore.clickview.com.au to browse the Media Store and send requests for titles to your ClickView administrator to download.

Searching the ClickView Media Store

How do I search for titles in the ClickView Media Store?
Any teacher can search the ClickView Media Store using the online search feature at mediastore.clickview.com.au . They are then able to send requests to their ClickView administrator to purchase this content on their behalf using the "request" button.

ClickView administrators can search using the search bar in the ClickView Media Store application found in the ClickView Library Manager, under the 'Tools' menu.

What happens after I send a request for a title?

Your chosen ClickView administrator will receive the details of the requested title in an email and will be able to download the video using the ClickView Media Store application.

Purchasing information

Who can purchase videos for my school?
Your ClickView Administrator can apply for a ClickView Media Store username and password through the ClickView Library Manager. To request an account, open the ClickView Media Store application, select 'Get an account' or simply visit www.clickview.com.au/mediastore/signup.php to request an account now.

Schools can create an account for each person that uses the ClickView Library Manager and have the authority to purchase content on behalf of the school. ClickView will verify the account before sending a username and password to each user.

How do I purchase titles from the ClickView Media Store?
Simply find the content you want to purchase and select the "Purchase" button in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. You will be required to enter your username and password and then confirm your purchase of the selected titles. Titles will immediately commence download into your ClickView Library Server.

How can I tell what titles I have purchased in the past?

ClickView will provide you with a list of previously purchased titles upon request.

What happens if I purchase a video that I have actually already purchased?

If you have previously been charged for downloading a video, our system will not charge you for downloading it a second time. However, please be aware more storage space will be required for multiple downloads.

I have accidentally deleted titles purchased from the ClickView Media Store, will I have to pay to download them again?
No, titles can be re-downloaded at any time once the initial purchase has been made.

Administrator information

Do I need to sign up to use the ClickView Media Store?
You will require a user name and password to access the ClickView Media Store. Create a new account by opening the ClickView Library Manager and signing in. You will be prompted to either use your sign in details or create a new account. Follow the prompts to register.

ClickView will verify your details and then activate an account for you.

How do I download requested titles?

Using the ClickView Media Store application, locate the video using the Video ID number supplied in the request email. Select “Purchase” to download the video.

How do I install downloaded videos into my ClickView Library?
Once the video has finished downloading it will appear in the folder you selected when first opening the ClickView Media Store. From here you can move/organise the title within your ClickView Library hierarchy.

Can I schedule my downloads?
Not yet. You can however queue your downloads and start them downloading after school hours to optimise bandwidth.

What happens if I close the ClickView Media Store in the middle of a download?
The downloading will pause until you re-open the ClickView Media Store application and will the recommence downloading the video files once re-opened.

Can I purchase multiple titles to download at once?
Yes, each title will queued and will commence download into your ClickView Library Server once the previous title’s download is complete. You can close your ClickView Media Store application and recommence download at any time.

How do I pay for purchased titles?
Each month your school will be billed by ClickView for all purchases made. Payment is due within 7 days.

How can I find out the file size of video titles?
The file size of each video is communicated in the confirmation box when a video purchase is made. It can also be found during the download process where it is shown next to the download progress bar.

Can I cancel a download?
Yes, however once a download has begun this video has already been purchased. ClickView Media Store has a confirmation process to confirm that you really want to download the title you have selected. Please ensure the correct titles have been selected before clicking the confirmation button.

Can I get a credit or a refund if I am unhappy with a video purchase?
Unfortunately credits and refunds are not available for incorrect choice or change of mind. Upon purchase you will be asked to confirm the video purchase, please make sure the correct titles have been selected before clicking the confirmation button.

Troubleshooting

I cannot find the downloaded video/s in my ClickView library.
You will need to refresh (F5) the ClickView Library Manager and ClickView Player before you can see the downloaded video/s.

I have an issue with a downloaded title, what do I do? If you are experiencing problems such as video playback issues or a corrupt file, we recommend you delete the video and download the title again. If the same issue occurs please contact our support team on 02 9518 5165.
