The word ‘Anzac’ holds an important place in contemporary political and cultural consciousness. This video looks into the origins of the Anzac spirit and the role it has to play in shaping modern Australian and New Zealand society. Students will learn about the ways in which the ANZACs are commemorated, and hear a range of opinions on what ‘Anzac’ means for us today.
