Led by his passion for paella, Spanish chef Miguel Cuevas journeys from Australia to his home country to find the true source of paella.
On his journey, Miguel visits some of the most symbolic places in paella's history, competes in the oldest international paella competition, and encounters Valencian characters and chefs, all of whom reflect the unique character of this typical Valencian dish.
This documentary follows him on his pilgrimage to Valencia, the birth of paella, a dish over which there is much controversy and discussion; to discover what paella really is, and that its origins more than 200 years ago lie in a lake. Show Less
